MAKING YOUR BLOCKS
ADDING CAPS
ADDING SASHING
ADDING BOARDS
Sewing together was an absolute delight, truly an unforgettable experience for me. This is my first time hosting a Quilt-A-Long. This quilt can be easily made by a beginner and can be so much fun for a seasoned quilter. If you missed the live Quilt-A-Long don’t worry you can use the links above to make your own quilt. Don’t forget to share your beautiful quilts on Instagram and bring inspiration to others by using the hashtag #therugquilt. I can’t wait to see what you make and see the diversity in colors and fabrics.
The Grand Finale winner is @kaylynowens
Again, I just want to thank everyone that participated. I had so much fun looking at all of your progress photos on Instagram. My intention is to have a few extra images of some other quilt top and quilt back options… Thirty quilt blocks are just waiting to become… something. However the deadline for QuiltCon snuck up on me and totally derailed that plan so I am tabling the Quilt-A-Long recap. I will update this post at a later date so check back soon.
Here are all the other winners:
@kaylynowns – The winner of step one
@Mumbird3 – The winner of step two
@quiltsintexas – The winner of step three
@cristinalovescrafts – The winner of step four
@mumbird3 – The winner of week five
