Quilts I Have Made – Quilt #2

Quilts I Have Made – Quilt #2

In today’s post, I’m excited to share details about one of my quilting projects – Quilt #2 on my growing list of quilts I have made. This is the second one in a series of about 80 I’ve completed over time. This particular quilt was crafted using a mesmerizing Kaleidoscope pattern, which intricately weaves various fabric pieces together. If you follow me on Instagram you know that I have two cats and LOVE cats. The moment I laid eyes on a whimsical, cat-themed fabric, I was smitten! This fascinating material then became the central piece around which the entire quilt was based on. Interestingly, I sourced all the fabrics needed for this project from a charming, small quilt shop located in Las Cruces. It’s a pity that the shop doesn’t exist anymore. However, the quilt is still here, serving as a tangible reminder of that quaint little store. There’s truly nothing quite like the comfort and warmth of a handmade quilt to cozy up with.
