WooHoo!! I entered my 2nd Fabric Design Contest!
A little over a week ago I read about a Fabric Challenge on one of the Blogs that I follow. Rachel, from PS I Quilt created a post on the Connecting Threads Fabric Design Contest. I followed the link to absorbed all the information I could… No theme… Due next month… prizes… I have to submit something, but what?? I had to go out of town for a work meeting and as I traveled I did a LOT of brainstorming. I narrowed down my ideas to Crabs and Beach. I the plane I made some sketches and came up with some solid ideas for support fabric.
The moment I got home from the airport I fired up my iPad and went to the Connecting Threads Blog to refresh my memory. What was that due date? BIG GULP. The due date? August the 10th. Today’s date? August 7th and 10:30 at night. I decided to give it a go in spite of the tight deadline.
At 10:30 pm on August 10th, this is what I submitted. I call it High Tide.
