I have been so exited about this new quilt! I am very pleased at the way this quilt turned out. About a year ago I bought two charm packs of Freebird designed by MoMo from Moda. I decided to design my own pattern and thought that this was the perfect opportunity. I needed to make a baby quilt for a good friend of mine. I don’t get to see her very much but do cherish her friendship. She is having a precious little boy. I was a little worried about the fabric being too girly because it has a very small amount of pink in it. That is why I decided to make blue the solid color and now think that it is perfect for a boy. I am almost done with that pattern and will be posting it soon.
