Welcome to November and the Giving Challenge 2026. I am so happy you are here. For me, this month is all about reflecting and giving back. I am so blessed to have a wonderful family, friends, and all of you.
As we move closer to 2026 (can you believe it?!), I’ve been dreaming, planning, and setting goals for the year ahead. Next year is going to be full of creativity, connection, and growth, and I can’t wait to bring you along for the journey.

2026 Goals
- Teaching opportunities — If you are part of a guild, I would love to teach for you
- Vending — for sure at Rusty Barn Phoenix
- New patterns — I have a few designs in the works
- Sew-alongs — I am thinking Twilight Frenzy around June or July
- Mystery Quilt-Alongs — a new quilt that used the Drift Templates
- Membership groups – Quily Crew
- The Great Jelly Roll Bash (like always on Jelly Roll Day!)
What to expect during the Giving Challenge
Each week I plan to release new blog posts with a giveaway.
This week I am giving away 2 charm packs of Glow Gardens.
To enter, comment on this blog post and tell me what you are thankful for. 💛

Goal Setting
Dive into your UFOs and complete quilts for charities. There are so many things I want to make and finish! Next week we will be setting goals, and I will be sharing links to some projects I think would be useful and fun to create.
Project Updates
Later in the month I will be sharing what I have accomplished. Hopefully I can get to everything I want, but we shall see! Email me (edemoo@brownbirddesigns.com) photos of the things you finish, and I will add them to The Giving Challenge 2026 Photo Gallery.
