For many months, I have had no time to sew. I have been very busy with work and have done a lot of traveling, mostly work related travel. I never thought I would say that I am tired of traveling but that is exactly what had been coming out of my mouth.

Now let me just tell you, an uncreative Elisabeth is not a NOT a happy one. To get my creative kick in I had to  resort to jewelry making. Now you wouldn’t know it but I am a hardcore beader. At any given time I have way more than 20 items done and ready for gifting or selling. I have sold my jewelry in a couple of different stores over the years but right now I am just on Etsy, although I am looking for the right store and the right fit.

I categorize my beads by color and have bead boxes for Reds, Greens, Oranges/Yellows, Blacks, Whites, Blues, Purples, Metals, and Teals. I love getting new beads but the pickings have been slim in my part of the country with a couple of  great boutiques closing or changing ownership. But still, I do what I can to create unique items.

I made about 30 pieces of jewelry on my last beading fest. I just posted some of these purples on Etsy. Wish me luck!
